Letter-writer Randy Black bemoans the potential problems with driverless cars, which so far have had no fatalities, as opposed to the driver-equipped cars, which cause 37,000 deaths in this country annually.
In 10 or 20 years there will be a rousing discussion about whether humans should be allowed to drive due to their poor safety record. We drive when we are drunk, drugged, angry, emotional and sick — machines do none of that.
