Don’t worry, you can put your windbreaker back in the closet.

Saturday’s high is expected to be around 60 degrees, which would be 10 degrees cooler than yesterday’s high of 71 degrees, National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Kalina said. The metro area is expected to be less windy than the day before and mostly clear.

Clouds are expected to float in Saturday night, bringing with them an overnight low in the mid-30s to low-40s, he said.

Temperates are expected to warm into the 70s on Sunday and Monday before a cold front hits Tuesday morning, Kalina said. The high then is expected to be in the upper 40s with a slight chance of rain and snow showers in Denver.

Next week should end with more typical weather for this time of year, oscillating between the lower to mid-50s and the mid-40s, Kalina said.

The mountains saw some snow Friday but little accumulated.
