FORT MYERS, Fla. — Bryce Dulin scored 20 points, Shawn Anderson added 18 and Navy defeated Denver 79-71 on Sunday to finish the FGCU Shootout.

George Kiernan had 11 of his 12 points in the first half when the Midshipmen (5-3) opened a 37-22 lead. Kiernan had four free throws and a 3-pointer in the middle of a 14-0 run that gave Navy a 16-2 lead before the Pioneers hit their first shot after missing their first 11.

Dulin scored 16 points in the second half when Navy shot 56.5 percent (13 of 23). The Midshipmen were up by double figures until the final two minutes, when they made 5 of 8 free throws. Anderson, who surpassed 1,000 career points in his previous game, had 11 in the second half.

Joe Rosga hit 6 3-pointers and made 13 of 16 free throws and scored 23 of his career-high 33 points in the second half for Denver (2-4).
