Foo Fighters has extended its Concrete and Gold Tour through late 2018, adding a handful of dates in the Southwest, including a date in Colorado.
The band will play Denver’s Pepsi Center on Oct. 10. Tickets to the all-ages show are $59-$99 and go on sale Jan 26 at 9 a.m. MT on .
A presale will be made available to Citi cardholders and Foo Fighters fan club members on Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. MT.
Foo Fighters last played Colorado in 2015, when frontman Dave Grohl performed with a broken leg. From our review of that show:
Through the entire two-and-a-half hour set, Grohl stomps his good (left) foot, whips his wavy locks and wails on his guitar. What’s most impressive about his performance isn’t related to his lack of physical mobility. It’s his vocal agility. His voice is somehow both clear and raspy with a vibrato that is pure rock soul. He sends out gritty screams into the audience and the fans respond in kind to his seemingly endless energy. His voice is at once soulful, pain-stricken, hopeful and full of longing, which often times embodies the heart of rock music. And he’s doing all of this sitting down, which any singer will tell you is not easy.
