
Two men are dead after a shooting early Sunday in the 6600 block of Leetsdale Drive, in east Denver.
Police responded to calls of a shots fired at 3:27 a.m. Sunday, officials say. Upon arrival, they found one man dead of and two other people with gunshot wounds.
The wounded were taken to a hospital, where one of them, a man, died of his injuries, police said Sunday afternoon. The third victim, a woman, remains in critical condition.
UPDATE on Leetsdale Dr. shooting: A 2nd victim (adult male) has been pronounced deceased. The 3rd victim (adult female) is in critical condition. Shooting appears to be an isolated incident. Leetsdale Dr. remains closed and the investigation is ongoing.

Investigators were still on the scene as of Sunday afternoon, and Leetsdale remains closed between South Monaco Parkway and South Niagara Street while they work.
Suspect information in the case is limited, but the circumstances that lead up to the shooting are coming into clearer focus, police say.
“It looks like we had a group of people in a parking lot there in that block on the north side of Leetsdale and there was a verbal altercation and then shots were fired, hitting those three individuals,” Denver police spokesman Doug Schepman told The Denver Post Sunday.
The strip of Leetsdale is home to a number of businesses, including a Quality Auto Sound car accessories shop, bowling alley, sushi restaurant and bakery. It is a short distance from George Washington High School.
The slayings come two days after a man was shot and killed in the Athmar Park area of Denver. That shooting, , occurred near the intersection of West Alameda Avenue and South Federal Boulevard, also a dense, commercial part of the city.
