A chance at redemption?
After Fergie’s rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the NBA All-Star Game wasn’t exactly well received, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox invited the singer to their national anthem audition.
“Although your ‘jazzy’ National Anthem rendition was not exactly a ‘hit single’, or even a ‘bunt single’, we understand that you’re an artist, took a risk and deserve another shot in the spotlight,” .
