A driver was injured Thursday when an SUV crashed into a water pump station in Westminster, slamming through a cinder-block wall.

The one-vehicle crash happened just before noon near the intersection of West 90th Avenue and Wadsworth Parkway, according to the fire department.

 

The driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital. Details on the driver’s injuries were not released, and the driver was not identified.

Water service to the area was not interrupted. No other injuries were reported. The damaged portion of the building was shored up by firefighters.
