There’s no better weather for a March march than the sunny skies, warm temperatures and breezes headed Denver’s way on Saturday as young people and adults take to the streets to protest gun violence in schools during the March For Our Lives event.

Saturday should see a high of 69 degrees with breezes in the metro area that might pick up to 22 miles per hour as the day progresses, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

A nighttime low of 39 degrees will usher in some clouds Saturday night.

Sunday is forecasted to be cloudier with a slight chance of showers before midnight. The high is 66 degrees with light winds during the day.

By Monday, that chance of showers increases with the added possibility of afternoon thunderstorms.

Mountain travel is expected to be treacherous throughout the weekend due to passing snow, wet road conditions and droves of spring break travelers backing up traffic.
