Corrida opened over the weekend in the rooftop level of the former Daily Camera building. The Boulder restaurant from beverage director Bryan Dayton (co-owner of Acorn and OAK at fourteenth) and chef Amos Watts (most recently at Old Major) is a Spanish-inspired steakhouse with a rotating menu of tapas and pintxos. 1023 Walnut St., Boulder, 303-444-1333;

There are worse things to create a bar/restaurant concept around than canned beer and a big outdoor patio. Cherry Creek Beer Garden, adjacent to The Moxy Hotel, opened last week with six beers on tap and a rotating selection of Colorado-made canned brews.
