Opening pratfall

Lows
1. German Marquez issued a career-high six walks; he has 10 in two games.
2. Marquez’s seven runs allowed were the most by a starter in a Rockies home opener since 1996.

Looking ahead
Braves RHP Anibal Sanchez (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. Rockies RHP Chad Bettis (1-0, 3.60), 6:10 p.m. Saturday, ATTRM
Bettis started 2018 strong Monday in San Diego, allowing two runs on five hits through five innings en route to earning the win. The 26-year-old who returned to the Rockies’ rotation in August last year following recovery from testicular cancer looks to continue his early-season rhythm against a team he’s 2-0 against in three starts at Coors Field. Meanwhile, the veteran Sanchez is making his first start of 2018. He threw three scoreless innings of relief April 2 against the Nationals.
Sunday: Braves RHP Julio Teheran (0-0, 10.13) vs. Rockies Kyle Freeland (0-1, 6.75), 1 p.m., ATTRM
Monday: Padres LHP Clayton Richard (0-1, 4.50) vs. Rockies RHP Jon Gray (1-1, 2.45), 6:40 p.m., ATTRM
Tuesday: San Diego LHP Joey Lucchesi (0-0, 2.79) vs. Rockies LHP Tyler Anderson (0-0, 7.56), 6:40 PM, ATTRM
