A woman is dead and a man is in serious but stable condition after showing up at the UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital with gunshot wounds.
The pair arrived at the hospital in a vehicle at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, said Off. Bill Hummel, a spokesman with the Aurora Police Department. He declined to say whether they had been driving or were dropped off.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred around East Mississippi Avenue and South Galena Street, he said.
Hummel said police do not have a suspect in custody. The major crimes unit is investigating the incident.
