Re: “To Boulder’s anti-gun bigots, I will not comply with your hate law,” Jon Caldara column, April 13
Nice article, and I feel some support as I am opposed to Boulder’s proposed gun laws also.
I have received threats and boycotts of my business from these Boulder bigots. I too feel discriminated against and trampled on being a law abiding gun owner and avid hunter.
It takes a lot to stand up for gun rights in this town and thanks for the strength and excellent article.
Thanks Jon!

I must object to the “hater” headline in Jon Caldara’s Sunday column. As a farm girl who was raised around guns, I am familiar with the warm fuzziness of your first .22. I appreciate its usefulness. My family hunted. We ate what we killed. So I resent being called a “hater” because I do not now support the right of every individual to have an arsenal. I believe Mr. Caldara’s guns are a danger to him and his family and to the community.
If Mr. Caldara is truly passionate about gun ownership issues, he should offer solutions to gun violence.
I also think that he should disclose the NRA’s generous support of his Independence Institute.
