The Denver Broncos traded their second fifth-round pick (No. 160 overall) in the NFL draft to the Los Angeles Rams for two sixth-round selections (No. 183 and No. 217 overall) later Saturday.

Entering Saturday, Denver had two fourth- and fifth-round picks, but no selections in the sixth or seventh rounds. But the Broncos swapped their first fifth-round pick with the Seattle Seahawks to move down in that round and acquire a seventh-round selection (No. 226 overall), before making the deal with the Rams. Fun fact: The fifth-round selection sent to the Rams was previously acquired by Denver from Los Angeles as part of the Aquib Talib trade.

Denver’s draft picks thus far are North Carolina State defensive end Bradley Chubb with the fifth overall pick, Courtland Sutton (40th overall) in the second round, Oregon running back Royce Freeman (71st overall) and Boston College cornerback Isaac Yiadom (99th overall) in the third round, Iowa linebacker Josey Jewell (106th overall) and Penn State wide receiver DaeSean Hamilton in the fourth round (113th overall) and Wisconsin tight end Troy Fumagalli in the fifth round (156th overall).
