Oh, the weather outside is seasonal.
Saturday along the Colorado Front Range should offer sunbathers in search of outdoor fun just what they’re looking for. Temperatures are cooling off significantly from a streak of hot weather that left many sweltering in 90-degree temperatures.
In Denver, a high of 79 degrees is expected along with bluebird, sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
The weather service said Saturday should be dry, which comes as a reprieve after a string of weekend storms that rained on the parades of many seeking to hike, bike or take a dip in the pool the past few weeks.
Take advantage of the umbrella-free outings while they exist because on Sunday, meteorologists predict a chance of scattered thunderstorms throughout the Denver area. The storms will roll through most prominently in the mountains, but clouds are expected to roll in through Denver, boasting a slight chance of rain, thunder and lightning.
The rest of the week looks predominantly hot and dry, the weather service said, with a few storms making an appearance before the end of the work week.
