Rock band Modest Mouse was announced as the new Friday night, August 17, Velorama headliner Wednesday morning, replacing original group Glass Animals. Fellow Friday performers include Slow Caves, Hop Along and The Kills.

The switch comes after Glass Animals shared via social media that t on tour and all of the band’s upcoming shows, including Velorama, had been canceled.

Modest Mouse will join Cold War Kids, Matt and Kim and more on the festival’s bill.

Velorama is a three-day festival in RiNo that started last summer and will return Aug. 17-19 to 27th and Blake Streets. The music festival is paired with the Colorado Classic cycling competition.

Single-day tickets for Friday and Saturday are available for $50, a ticket for Sunday is $10. Three-Day passes general admission passes are available for $100, and premium and VIP passes are also available at
