A 20-year-old woman fatally shot in Denver on Friday has been identified.
Briseidy Jimenez-Ortega, 20, was shot at about 8 p.m. in the 3900 block of Bryant Street and taken by ambulance to Denver Health Medical Center. She died of a gunshot wound and the manner of death is a homicide, according to the coroner’s office.
A 20-year-old suspect, Elijah Lucero, is being sought for Jimenez-Ortega’s death.
