The fourth annual Taste of the Broncos filled bellies at Broncos Stadium at Mile High Monday, Sept. 10, with an interactive experience for die-hard football and food fanatics alike.
Chef Troy Guard and more than 30 chefs representing some of Denver’s premier restaurant concepts served up an eclectic arrangement of dishes with help from Broncos players. (Literally, they were dressing plates and serving up the goods.)
Fans and foodies enjoyed live music by Face Vocal Band while they mingled with Broncos players and tried a variety of plates including Senor Bear’s brisket tacos, Hashtag’s pancakes, Table 6’s eggplant caponata, a sashimi plate by soon-to-open Uchi Denver, and Cholon’s crowd-pleasing crispy cheesesteak wontons recommended by QB Case Keenum.
The food was washed down with Don Julio Palomas, Ketel One Botanical vodka sodas, Bulleit whiskey cocktails, beer and wine.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Denver apharities and Food Bank of the Rockies.
