The Greeley Police Department is investigating a string of burglaries that happened early Sunday morning in west Greeley.
Lt. Aaron Carmichael said officers received a call at 3 a.m. Sunday about someone using a rock to smash the entrance of TCBY, 4530 CenterPlace Drive. Throughout the morning, the department also received calls about burglaries at 10th Street Market Place, 4751 10th St.; Cost Cutters, 4626 CenterPlace Drive; and Papa John’s, 4731 10th St.
Small amounts of money were taken from the registers of the businesses, Carmichael said, including $9 at one location and $50 at another.
Carmichael said officers are seeking a gray sedan in connection with the burglaries. No additional information about the suspect was available Sunday night.
