Von Miller didn’t record a sack against Baltimore last week and the Broncos lost.

Coincidence? Not entirely. By no means does a Miller sack guarantee a victory, and, failing to record one doesn’t place a loss on Miller’s shoulder pads. But a once-in-a-generation talent like Miller prides himself on turning the game in Denver’s favor with a single pass rush. Actually, he demands it of himself.

“Whenever I go into a game, it doesn’t matter what game it is, how big or how small it is, I’ve got a different agenda,” Miller said. “I’m trying to do something legendary every game, if I can say that. I’m trying to make game changing plays every week.”

So, what the most impactful play possible by an edge rusher?

“Sack, forced fumble, touchdown,” Miller said.

But wait. There’s just one thing better. He smiled.

“Then do it again and again,” Miller said.
