Green Bay at New England
Packers-Patriots was reportedly NBC’s first choice during the schedule-making process in the spring. Therefore, this game is the Sunday night showcase and for good reason. Aaron Rodgers (97 wins/326 touchdown passes) vs. Tom Brady (202/504). The Patriots are a six-point favorite.
Patriots 48, Packers 41
Lock of the week
Chicago at Buffalo
The Bears (4-3) are a 9 1/2-point road favorite against a team that can’t score (10.9 points per game), is coming off a short week (lost to New England on Monday) and has Nathan Peterman starting at quarterback (enough said). Since 1992, it is only the second time the Bears are at least a nine-point road favorite.
