They won’t be found under a Christmas tree, but the tiny “presents” wrapped by nurses at Children’s Hospital Colorado are decorated in bows, ribbons and crochet Santa hats.

Infants in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit have been “wrapped” as gifts to help their families “celebrate their baby, no matter how sick they are,” Children’s Hospital said in an email.

Babies in the unit take part in the holiday photo shoot each year.
