After a stretch of cooler temperatures, folks around Denver have enjoyed a warm up around town and most are ready to get outside and play a little.
The forecast for Friday and the weekend is sure to get Coloradans outside enjoying activities they have missed the past few weeks. With temps pushing 60 degrees on Friday, make sure to get out and enjoy the sunny January day that will have many dreaming of spring.
The weekend is more of the same with highs in the upper 50s on both Saturday and Sunday. With the warmer days the snow is all sure to melt away in the metro area, leaving parks and golf courses ready for play.
Speaking of winter golf, Colorado’s double-double needs to be mentioned again. Here at The Post we have talked about this before and it is always a fun day if accomplished. The double-double is a morning of skiing in the high country followed by an afternoon round of golf.
So enjoy a nice weather weekend around the state and get outside for a little fun in the sun as winter days this warm and sunny don’t happen often enough.
