Bundle up Denver.
The arctic snow has stopped falling from the skies but the bitter cold remains, with the low temperature in the Denver metro area dropping down to around 10 degrees Tuesday morning, and wind-chill values making it feel like minus-6 degrees, forecasters say.
But soothing sunshine is not far away. By the afternoon the sun will make an appearance and temperatures will climb above freezing – just barely. The high Tuesday is expected to reach 34 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Tuesday night the low will drop to around 12 degrees.
Partly sunny this afternoon but continued cool. Windy mountains & foothills w/ breezy conditions along the WY/NE borders.
