Denver coroner identifies man shot and killed in northeast Denver

The man who was shot in northeast Denver Thursday night was identified as Jamaica McClain.

The 42-year-old man died of a gunshot wound, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner said in a news release.

Denver police arrested 38-year-old Aundre Moore in connection to the shooting that occurred in the 3200 block of North Hudson Street.

Moore was booked on suspicion of first-degree murder. He is being held in the Downtown Detention Center.

Police have not released details about the shooting.
