
Denver could get a few afternoon rain and thunderstorms Monday but little moisture will fall, forecasters say.
There’s a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
“Main threats will be gusty winds to around 40 mph and thunderstorms producing cloud to ground lightning but little rainfall,” the NWS says. The chance for thunderstorms will taper off in the evening.
It will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 78.
The warming trend continues. Isolated to scattered PM showers & storms will develop this afternoon and move southeast through early evening. Main threats will be gusty winds to around 40 mph, and thunderstorms producing cloud to ground lightning but little rainfall.

Warmer temperatures are expected in Denver with highs of 81 degrees on Tuesday and 83 on Wednesday and Thursday, the NWS says.
There’s a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms on Friday, when the high temperature will be around 75 degrees.
It will be cooler this weekend with highs of 65 degrees on Thursday and 67 on Sunday, the NWS says.
