DENVER — Crews are searching a Denver lake for a man and a dog after their boat came ashore unoccupied Sunday afternoon.
Denver fire said the man and his dog went out boating on Harvey Park Lake at 4630 West Evans Avenue earlier in the day. Neighbors later spotted the empty boat and called 911, according to the Denver Fire Department.
The missing boater was later identified as 74-year-old Gordon Ham.
Police said Ham is a 6-foot-tall white male with brown hair and blue eyes and walks with a significant disability. He was last seen wearing jeans with red suspenders and light-colored shirt.
