Nuggets All-Star Nikola Jokic let his emotions overtake him yet again, and he was ejected in the third quarter of Serbia’s FIBA World Cup loss to Spain on Sunday.
Jokic, taking on Nuggets forward in the final game of the second round in China, was frustrated after he was double-teamed by Hernangomez and Spanish center Marc Gasol. An official called a jump ball instead of a foul, and Jokic, ejected three times last season with the Nuggets, offered a few choice words in his direction.
Jokic wasn’t nearly as effective against Spain as he had been in prior games throughout the tournament, as Spain’s defense flustered Serbia’s precise attacks for an 81-69 win. Jokic finished with just six points and five rebounds.
After not getting a foul call on a Marc Gasol and Juancho Hernangomez trap, Nikola Jokic yells at the ref, and gets ejected from the game.

Spain, behind strong games from Gasol and Ricky Rubio, handed Serbia its first loss of the tournament.
Both teams had already advanced to the quarterfinals prior to Sunday’s game. Spain will take on Poland while Serbia will face Argentina on Tuesday.
