Aurora police are still looking for information related to the death of a woman whose body was found over the weekend in an SUV that burned on Interstate 225 near East Colfax Avenue.

The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 46-year-old Vicky Salvadora De Dios. She died of injuries she received before the vehicle fire, a coroner’s office in a news release said. Aurora police are investigating the incident as a homicide. No arrests have been made, police spokesman Matthew Longshore said.

The woman was found in a blue SUV, just south of the Colfax on-ramp, according to police. The vehicle was parked before catching fire.

Police are asking that anyone with information about Salvador De Dios’ death or anyone who may have seen the vehicle contact Detective Chad Lampson at 303-739-6013 or Denver Metro Crime Stoppers anonymously at 720-913-7867.
