Today, the Denver Post debuts its first Best of the West College Football Top 25 Poll for 2019.
What schools make up the “best”? If you add the 12 members of the Pac-12 (including CU) and the 12 schools in the Mountain West (including CSU and Air Force) and throw in independent BYU, you’ve got a pretty good snapshot of the top 25 college football programs from the Front Range to the Pacific Ocean.
Post colleges writer Sean Keeler (@SeanKeeler) and Post deputy sports editor Matt Schubert (@MattDSchubert) will be compiling the Best of the West every Monday morning for the rest of the college football season.
We’re looking for readers to add their voices to the mix, too — and more on that in a second.
