Colorado Springs Christian beat Peyton by a score of 32-14.

Colorado Springs Christian quarterback Caleb Stockton led the passing attack with 56 yards through the air. Stockton also added 33 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Andrew Knedler lead all Colorado Springs Christian receivers with one receptions for 24 yards.

Colorado Springs Christian’s ground attack was spearheaded by Peyton Brones who accrued 134 yards and two touchdowns in the contest, averaging 7.1 yards per carry. Joe Dunn added 71 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 6.5 yards per carry.

Colton Murray led Peyton’s passing attack with 100 yards through the air. Murray also added 54 yards on the ground. Peyton’s leading receiver was West Hart, who caught two passes for 37 yards.

In addition to Murray’s effort, Brandon Hussey paced the Peyton rushing attack by accumulating 20 yards in the game. Hussey also tacked on 25 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Colorado Springs Christian heading to play Platte Canyon and Peyton taking on Clear Creek.
