Monarch easily defeated Rampart by a score of 42-21.
Monarch quarterback Kyle Gordon led the aerial attack with 62 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns with no interceptions. Gordon also added 42 yards on the ground. Kyle Gordon’s most reliable receiver in the ballgame was AJ Tennessen, who caught two passes for 56 yards and one score.
Monarch’s ground attack was lead by Keiran Singh who racked up 113 yards and two touchdowns in the game, averaging 8.7 yards per carry. Ryan Shaughnessy added 97 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Monarch hosting Greeley West and Rampart taking on Bear Creek.
