Battle Mountain narrowly lost to Moffat County in a 36-34 game.

Ryan Peck led Moffat County’s aerial attack with 214 yards through the air, throwing three touchdowns and three interceptions. Peck also added 25 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Peck’s most relied on target in the ballgame was Dario Alexander, who caught seven passes for 124 yards and two scores.

Kevin Hernandez lead all Moffat County rushers with 33 yards in the game. Hernandez also tacked on 46 receiving yards.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Moffat County hosting Pagosa Springs and Battle Mountain taking on Woodland Park.

Battle Mountain has not reported any team or player statistics from this contest.
