Fort Lupton couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Riverdale Ridge squad, losing by a score of 41-6 on Friday, Sept. 20.

Riverdale Ridge quarterback Aidan Burns led the passing attack with 189 yards through the air, tossing three touchdowns without an interception. Burns also added 46 yards on the ground. Aidan Burns’ most prolific target in the game was Dakota Pruitt, who caught eight passes for 106 yards and two scores. Cayden Mazurek contributed in the passing game as well, grabbing two balls for 81 yards and one touchdown.

In addition to Burns’ effort, James Bell paced the Riverdale Ridge ground game by gaining 45 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 15 yards per carry.

Joseph Welch paced the Fort Lupton rushing attack by running for 147 yards in the game, averaging 8.6 yards per carry.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Riverdale Ridge hosting Englewood and Fort Lupton taking on D’Evelyn.
