Cooler temperatures and a chance of showers and thunderstorms will greet metro Denver residents Friday, while drier weather will return over the weekend.
Highs in Denver are expected to reach 75 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Chances of showers are higher north of Interstate 76.
Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be dry and warm, with elevated fire danger due to wind.
