Broomfield handed Monarch a loss in a 34-14 showdown on Friday.

Monarch quarterback Kyle Gordon led the passing attack with 50 yards through the air. Monarch’s leading receiver was Aj Tennessen, who caught two passes for 30 yards.

Keiran Singh paced the Monarch rushing attack by accumulating 123 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 6.8 yards per carry.

Next up for each team, Monarch will stay home and play Gateway, while Broomfield will travel to play Fort Collins.
