Edison couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Deer Trail squad, losing by a score of 53-14 on Friday.
Kolter Eldringhoff led Deer Trail’s passing attack with 167 yards through the air. Eldringhoff also added 43 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Eldringhoff’s most reliable receiver in the game was Dayne Woodis, who caught five passes for 121 yards and one score.
Walker Morelock paced the Deer Trail ground game by racking up 154 yards and five touchdowns in the game, averaging 10.3 yards per carry.
Edison will play host to Hanover, while Deer Trail will travel to play Hanover.
