Bishop Machebeuf couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Eaton squad, losing by a score of 44-8 on Friday.

Eaton quarterback Scott Grable led the passing attack with 113 yards through the air. Grable also added 58 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Scott Grable’s most relied on target in the contest was Juan Maravilla, who caught three passes for 75 yards.

Salvador Rojas lead all Eaton rushers with 113 yards in the contest, averaging 11.3 yards per carry. Ethan Florez added 60 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, averaging 10 yards per carry.

Ryan Schmitt led Bishop Machebeuf’s passing attack with 50 yards through the air. Bishop Machebeuf’s leading receiver was Tommy Burns, who caught two passes for 40 yards.

Emmet Chavez paced all Bishop Machebeuf rushers with 72 yards in the contest, averaging 7.2 yards per carry. Owen Thornton added 51 yards on the ground, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.

In their next games, Eaton will stay home and play University, while Bishop Machebeuf will travel to play Alameda.
