Dakota Ridge earned a win when they defeated Ponderosa 20-6 on Friday.
Dakota Ridge quarterback Ben Gultig led the passing attack with 128 yards through the air. Gultig also added 23 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Ben Gultig’s favorite target in the ballgame was Nico Capolungo, who caught two passes for 47 yards.
Charlie Offerdahl lead the Dakota Ridge rushing game by accumulating 155 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 5.5 yards per carry.
Jack Hanenburg led Ponderosa’s passing attack with 139 yards through the air. Hanenburg also added 28 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Hanenburg’s most reliable receiver in the ballgame was Kolton Miller, who caught four passes for 40 yards.
Hanenburg paced all Ponderosa rushers with 28 yards and one touchdown in the contest.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Dakota Ridge heading to play Vista PEAK Prep and Ponderosa taking on Vista Ridge.
