Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Walsh squad, losing by a score of 54-6 on Friday.
Walsh quarterback Brendan Hodges led the passing attack with 117 yards through the air. Dylan Renquist lead all Walsh receivers with three catches for 73 yards and two scores.
Justin Wright spearheaded the Walsh rushing attack by finishing with 138 yards and four touchdowns in the game, averaging 11.5 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Walsh heading to play Eads and Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind taking on Genoa-Hugo.
