Ellicott couldn’t quite keep up with a strong Colorado Springs Christian squad, losing by a score of 55-8 on Saturday.
Colorado Springs Christian quarterback Caleb Stockton led the passing attack with 100 yards through the air. Stockton also added 39 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Andrew Knedler lead all Colorado Springs Christian receivers with two receptions for 63 yards and one score.
Peyton Brones lead the Colorado Springs Christian rushing attack by running for 114 yards and three touchdowns in the contest, averaging 28.5 yards per carry.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Colorado Springs Christian heading to play Ignacio and Ellicott taking on Peyton.
