Summit couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Elizabeth squad, losing by a score of 38-0 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Elizabeth quarterback Vincent Weber led the passing attack with 84 yards through the air. Weber also added 160 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. James Lawrence lead all Elizabeth receivers with three receptions for 49 yards.
In addition to Vincent Weber’s effort, Jacob Hunter lead the Elizabeth ground game by running for 31 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 7.8 yards per carry.
Next up for each team, Summit will play host to Battle Mountain, while Elizabeth will travel to play Manitou Springs.
