Estes Park earned a win when they beat Clear Creek 22-6 on Friday, Sept. 27.
Collin Reetz led Estes Park’s aerial attack with 84 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and two interceptions. Reetz also added one rushing touchdown. Estes Park’s leading receiver was Jd Mccown, who caught three passes for 36 yards.
Elijah Kitchen paced the Estes Park rushing attack by running for 159 yards in the game, averaging 8 yards per carry. Kitchen also tacked on one receiving touchdown. Cole Wallace added 118 yards and one touchdown on the ground, averaging 10.7 yards per carry.
Clear Creek quarterback Bode Baker led the passing attack with 90 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown and three interceptions. Jett Howard lead all Clear Creek receivers with four receptions for 45 yards and one score.
Clear Creek’s ground attack was lead by Evan Brandt who tallied 53 yards in the game, averaging 4.4 yards per carry.
Looking ahead to their next games, Clear Creek will play host to Platte Canyon, while Estes Park will travel to play Flatirons Academy.
