Liberty couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Heritage squad, losing by a score of 55-20 on Friday, Sept. 27 at @ Littleton Public School Stadium.
Conner Cummiskey led Heritage’s passing attack with 172 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown and one interception. Cummiskey also added 87 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Cummiskey’s favorite target in the contest was Logan Sweet, who caught four passes for 67 yards and one score.
Heritage was lead by Doug Moore and his 76 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 15.2 yards per carry. Terrance Ferguson chipped in with 72 yards and one touchdown, averaging 12 yards per carry, in addition to 57 receiving yards.
Liberty quarterback Daucin Dvorsky led the passing attack with 197 yards through the air. Malachi Salus lead all Liberty receivers with nine catches for 117 yards and one score.
Elias Alexander paced all Liberty rushers with 43 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 5.4 yards per carry.
Heritage will play host to Centaurus, while Liberty will travel to play Wheat Ridge.
