Plateau Valley handed Hayden their first loss in a narrow 20-18 victory on Friday, Sept. 27.

Emmet Kuper powered Plateau Valley’s passing attack with 75 yards through the air, throwing one touchdown without an interception. Matthew Allen was also Plateau Valley’s leading receiver on the day.

Justice Kuper paced all Plateau Valley rushers with 109 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. Allen added 97 yards on the ground, averaging 6.5 yards per carry, as well as 75 receiving yards and one touchdown. Payton Ferganchick contributed 90 yards and one touchdown, averaging 6.4 yards per carry.

Looking ahead to their next games, Plateau Valley will play host to Soroco, while Hayden will travel to play Vail Christian.
