Skyline won by just a single point over Holy Family on Thursday.
Skyline quarterback Chase Silva led the aerial attack with 403 yards through the air, tossing four touchdowns and one interception. Grayden Bridwell lead all Skyline receivers with five catches for 156 yards and two scores. Austin Robison got involved in the passing game as well, reeling in five balls for 123 yards and one touchdown. Skyline also got 75 yards receiving and one touchdown from Nick Peterson in the contest.
Mike McKrola paced the Skyline ground game by racking up 68 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 4.5 yards per carry.
Calahan Carter led Holy Family’s passing attack with 476 yards through the air, throwing four touchdowns and one interception. Carter’s most relied on target in the contest was Ben Nappe, who caught nine passes for 291 yards and one score. Braedon Peters got in on the action in the passing game as well, reeling in five passes for 74 yards and one touchdown.
Trevin Johnson lead the Holy Family rushing attack by running for 128 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 5.8 yards per carry. Johnson also tacked on 63 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Skyline hosting Silver Creek and Holy Family taking on Denver North.
