Standley Lake couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Green Mountain squad, losing by a score of 36-13 on Friday, Sept. 27 at Trailblazer.
Trey Towndrow led Green Mountain’s passing attack with 101 yards through the air. Towndrow also added 167 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Austin Peterson lead all Green Mountain receivers with one reception for 44 yards and one score.
In addition to Towndrow’s effort, Jacob Chavez paced the Green Mountainrushing game by racking up 85 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 8.5 yards per carry.
Kevin Starnes paced the Standley Lake rushing attack by racking up 75 yards in the game, averaging 6.8 yards per carry.
Standley Lake will play host to Denver South, while Green Mountain will travel to play Falcon.
