Green Mountain easily put away Standley Lake by a score of 36-13 on Friday, Sept. 27 at Trailblazer.
Trey Towndrow led Green Mountain’s passing attack with 101 yards through the air. Towndrow also added 167 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Austin Peterson lead all Green Mountain receivers with one catch for 44 yards and one score.
In addition to Towndrow’s effort, Jacob Chavez lead the Green Mountainrushing game by running for 85 yards and one touchdown in the game, averaging 8.5 yards per carry.
Kevin Starnes spearheaded the Standley Lake ground game by running for 75 yards in the game, averaging 6.8 yards per carry.
Next up for each team, Standley Lake will play host to Denver South, while Green Mountain will travel to play Falcon.
