Dakota Ridge couldn’t quite keep up with a potent Vista PEAK Prep squad, losing by a score of 48-27 on Thursday at Aurora Public Stadium.

Victor Owens powered Vista PEAK Prep’s passing attack with 218 yards through the air. Owens also added 59 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Vista PEAK Prep’s leading receiver was Ja’derris Carr-kersh, who caught three passes for 112 yards and one score.

Vista PEAK Prep was lead by Gene Sledge Jr and his 57 yards in the contest, averaging 8.1 yards per carry. Monty Hamrick contributed 57 yards , averaging 19 yards per carry.

Both teams will stay at home in their next contest, with Vista PEAK Prep hosting Hinkley and Dakota Ridge taking on Bear Creek.
