Bayfield handed Alamosa a loss in a 28-10 showdown on Friday, Oct. 4.
Isaac Ross powered Bayfield’s passing attack with 92 yards through the air.
Bayfield’s ground game was lead by Cael Schaefer who racked up 167 yards and four touchdowns in the contest, averaging 6 yards per carry. Schaefer also tacked on 32 receiving yards.
Kasey Jones led Alamosa’s passing attack with 114 yards through the air. Brenden Crowther lead all Alamosa receivers with five receptions for 61 yards. Ian Jackson contributed in the passing game as well, reeling in five balls for 53 yards.
Brendon Madril lead the Alamosa rushing attack by running for 41 yards in the contest.
Bayfield will play host to Farmington, while Alamosa will travel to play Montezuma-Cortez.
