Gateway easily handled Aurora Central by a score of 51-0 on Friday, Oct. 11 at Aurora Public Schools Stadium, Football Field.
Erick Covington powered Gateway’s passing attack with 153 yards through the air, throwing two touchdowns and one interception. Covington also added 94 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Antwuan Smith lead all Gateway receivers with two catches for 68 yards and one score.
Rj Webster lead all Gateway rushers with 102 yards and one touchdown in the contest, averaging 17 yards per carry.
Next up for each team, Gateway will stay home and play Ponderosa, while Aurora Central will travel to play Heritage.
